Meiro Labs

A closer look at the experiments, internal tools, and focused applications we build inside Meiro.

Built for real workflows

What Meiro Labs Is

Meiro Labs is a working collection of experiments and custom applications built by the Meiro team for real operational needs. Instead of building generic software first, we usually start with a narrow internal use case, make it useful, and only then decide whether it should stay private, be shared more broadly, or evolve into a repeatable implementation pattern.

That means this page is not a polished product catalog. It is a window into the tools, workflows, and experiments that help us move faster internally and test ideas in practice.

Current Projects

  • Fellow
Fellow is an agentic system we use to configure agents for recurring internal work. Runs can start on a schedule or be triggered directly from Slack, and each agent executes inside a virtual machine so the workflow stays isolated, flexible, and practical for real operating tasks.

  • Symphony
Symphony is our customized version of OpenAI’s open-source Symphony project, which OpenAI describes as a way to turn project work into isolated, autonomous implementation runs. We extended it with visual workflow control and tailored orchestration flows for the way our own teams plan, review, and execute work.

  • Semaphore
Semaphore is a Slack bot for lightweight pulse checks inside Meiro. It uses AI to ask short questions about topics such as purpose, independence, and work-life balance, lets teammates answer in natural language, and turns those responses into an anonymized dashboard summary that helps us spot patterns without exposing individuals.

What To Expect

  • Internal-first by default
Most of these applications start from a narrow team need, a repeated internal task, or a specific operating constraint inside Meiro.

  • Opinionated by design
Many of them are built to solve one workflow well rather than behave like broadly configurable, off-the-shelf software.

  • Open source or implementation may still be possible
If a project overlaps with your needs, we can discuss sharing code, open sourcing parts of it, or helping shape a practical implementation around your environment.

More Projects Will Follow

These examples are a starting point, not a complete catalog. We will keep expanding Meiro Labs with additional internal tools, deeper technical context, and more detail on where a project is meant to stay internal versus where it may be useful to share more broadly.

If one of these projects points to a problem your team is working through, get in touch and we can talk about fit, implementation, and whether sharing the code makes sense.

Have a similar internal challenge?

If one of our experiments points in the same direction as your team, we can talk through whether it should stay a reference, become open source, or be adapted into a practical implementation.
